Code of Conduct and Ethics

This document, accessible to all, presents the guidelines that govern Eldorado Brazil's relationships with its employees, customers, suppliers, service providers, partners, shareholders, governments, and communities. The code establishes standards and procedures for ethical conduct in the workplace, in business, and in relationships with our stakeholders.

Ethics Line:

open dialogue

The Ethics Line is our integrity channel, through which anyone can anonymously contact Eldorado Brazil to report breaches of the company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics, internal policies, or Brazilian legislation. The Ethics Line can also be used to make complaints or suggestions, ask questions, and give feedback. This channel is important for us to improve our compliance and reduce any conduct that goes against our culture of ethics, integrity, compliance, and transparency. Reports to the Ethics Line follow the process below:
  • Contact with the Ethics Line

Anyone can contact the Ethics Line to make an anonymous report. The entire process is confidential.

  • Preliminary analysis

An independent company receives and analyzes the report, then forwards it to the Eldorado Brazil compliance team.

  • Complainant informed of outcome

Eldorado Brazil's Ethics Committee impartially and confidentially investigates the facts. The report is then closed and the complainant is informed of the outcome.

You can file a report by email linhaetica@eldoradobrasil.com.br, by telephone (0800 527 5280), via the website, or directly to a member of our compliance team.

Our compliance

Eldorado Brazil’s internal compliance policies establish transparent rules on topics sensitive to business ethics, which must be followed by all employees at all times. These policies govern our actions in matters such as anti-corruption, business partner integrity assessments, receipt of gifts and freebies, conflicts of interest, donations and sponsorships, privacy, and others. Internal training on the company's compliance policies is conducted annually.
