Close relationships with local communities is one of the foundations of our sustainable operations. We strive to contribute to social development in the region where we operate—one priority is our ESG strategy, which structures Eldorado Brazil's commitments to environmental, social, and governance issues. The company's sustainability team holds regular meetings with local and neighboring communities to actively and transparently engage with people from the region, identifying priority issues and establishing a positive agenda for the company's social activities. Our programs and initiatives focus on education, job creation, and boosting the local economy.

Eldorado Brazil is partnered with the Germinare Institute, which seeks to transform and develop society through education. The Germinare School offers excellent academic education—at no cost—to promising students aged 11 to 18, with the aim of training future managers and business leaders. The pedagogical approach is unprecedented, with 10 hours of classes a day, combining curricular content with management theory and practice, focusing on project management, finance, people, marketing, operations, corporate governance, strategy, and logistics. Students also take part in business management projects, visits to the stock exchange, factories, and companies, and meetings with specialists, all in preparation for professional life.
